For most minor concerns, yes. But for infections, fungus, or open wounds, we recommend consulting a doctor first. 

If done properly, they are not bad for your nails.

With dip nails, you are dipping your fingers in the container with the dip powder. There is no way of sanitizing the powder so dip nails are not as sanitary and gel and acrylics. 

They are the same thing just with a different process of getting the finished product.  

Apply cuticle oil daily, wear gloves when cleaning, and avoid using nails as tools.

We don’t recommend it. Professional removal prevents damage to your natural nails.
